About the Clay – Huangjin Duanni 黄金段泥
Huangjin Duanni is a rare and visually captivating variety of Duanni, named for its golden hue and natural warmth. A subtype of the famous original Duan clay, it is sourced from the Yixing region and known for its fine grain and strong breathability.

Fired Color: Warm golden yellow with earthy undertones

Texture: Slightly sandy, beautifully porous

Functionality: Excellent heat retention and smooth tea expression

Recommended Teas: Ideal for aged Sheng Pu-erh, mellow Oolongs, and White tea, as it enhances depth and smoothens edges

🏆 Family Legacy – Born into the Legendary "Cao Family of Four Hands"
Zhang Ke is not only a talented young artist in his own right, but also a direct inheritor of one of the most prestigious lineages in Yixing pottery — the "Cao Family of Four Hands (曹家四手)", a name held in the highest regard in the Zisha world.

His mother, Cao Yanping (曹燕萍), is a Level 2 National Arts & Crafts Master, celebrated for her refined craftsmanship and elegant aesthetic.
His maternal uncle, Cao Yalin (曹亚麟), is a Level 1A National Master, and one of the most respected names in modern Yixing ceramics.
His uncle, Cao Anxiang (曹安详), and his aunt, Cao Yanping(曹燕萍), are both Provincial Masters (also Level 1) — all of whom have significantly shaped the development of contemporary Zisha artistry.

Growing up in such a profound artistic environment, Zhang Ke absorbed not only the technical skills of clay and fire but also the cultural heritage and philosophical depth that the Cao family embodies. His works carry the bloodline of tradition, infused with the spirit of modern creativity, making him one of the most promising voices of the new generation.
