🔶 Teapot Shape: Bao Quan (Treasure Spring)
The Bao Quan Teapot, meaning "Treasure Spring," is an original shape created and designed by Master Cao Yanping. The name reflects the idea of an endless, flowing spring — symbolic of abundance, vitality, and harmony.
Its form is elegantly balanced, with a full yet refined body, short upright spout, comfortable handle, and a perfectly proportioned lid. The silhouette exudes a quiet dignity and poetic charm, making it an ideal piece for both daily brewing and refined collecting.
🪨 Clay: Qing Shui Ni (Aged 1980s Clay)
This piece is crafted from Qing Shui Ni, a rare and refined Yixing clay that was mined in the 1980s and privately reserved by the Cao family. This natural ore was aged for decades to achieve optimal plasticity, texture, and mineral stability.
Once fired, the clay yields a soft yellowish-brown or grey-beige tone, with a subtle luster and classic Zisha texture. Qing Shui Ni is known for its balanced tea compatibility, making it well-suited for brewing:
