Taka Dora Gata Tetsubin.
Derived from Dora Gata tetsubin, this design variant incorporates an increased height to its design. This modification enhances its visual presence and introduces a unique aspect to the traditional form. The decision to elevate the design reflects a creative reinterpretation of the classic Dora Gata tetsubin, providing a fresh perspective on its aesthetic and functional aspects.
In the final stages of production, the lacquer used for finishing is meticulously baked onto the surface of the kettle. Notably, the chosen lacquer is the premium "Johoji lacquer," a high-quality material sourced locally from Iwate Prefecture. This careful selection not only adds a refined touch to the kettle's appearance but also contributes to its durability and longevity.
With its heightened stature and just-nice capacity of 1.4L, this masterpiece stands as a distinctive and refined piece within the realm of iron kettles. It represents a harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship, innovative design, and the use of premium materials, showcasing the ongoing commitment to excellence in the art of Tetsubin crafting.
