Fan Wei-Qun is a renowned contemporary Zisha master, born in 1970 in Yixing, Jiangsu Province — the heartland of Chinese pottery. He comes from a prestigious ceramic lineage and is the direct grandson of Fan Da-Sheng, a legendary potter from the late Qing and early Republic periods.

He trained under masters Wu Tong-Fen and Xu Han-Tang, and has received numerous national honors, including:

Jiangsu Provincial Master of Arts & Crafts

Jiangsu Ceramic Art Master

Distinguished Mid-Career Expert (Provincial Level)

Member of the China Arts & Crafts Association

Founder, Chief Designer, and Artistic Director of Fanjia Pottery Studio

Certified National Research-Level Senior Arts & Crafts Artist

The name "Fan Da-Sheng" refers collectively to Fan Guang-Shan (1847–1902) and his son Fan Qin-Ren (style name: Cheng-Fu, 1875–1942), both of whom signed their teapots under the shared artist name "Da-Sheng." Their works were known for excellence and were considered priceless even during the Republic era. "Da-Sheng" teapots have won six international gold medals and remain celebrated globally.

Yao Li-Yun 姚丽云

Born in 1970 in Yixing (also known as the "Pottery Capital"), Yao Li-Yun has had a lifelong passion for the art of Zisha. She began her training under Fan Wei-Qun in 1993, and later studied with Grandmaster Xu Han-Tang in 2004. Known for her dedication, learning spirit, and deep respect for Zisha tradition, her works reflect elegance, balance, and craftsmanship.
