A Practical Tea Brand Based in Singapore

OVP Tea was founded in Singapore in 2013, with a simple focus:
to make quality Chinese tea easy to enjoy in modern daily life.

Our work began in 2006 with sourcing tea from established production regions in China, including ancient tea mountains in Yunnan. Over time, the emphasis became clear — not on rarity or storytelling, but on consistency, usability, and calm everyday enjoyment.

Our Approach

We work with traditional tea processing methods while designing our products for contemporary use.

This means:

*Individually wrapped teas for freshness and ease
*Straightforward brewing without specialised equipment
*Flavour profiles that are balanced, stable, and suitable for daily drinking

Tea should not require study or preparation rituals.
It should fit naturally into workdays, home routines, and shared moments.

Our Teas & Recognition

Our work is supported by three layers of independent recognition.

First, our tea master has been formally recognised through the highest Singapore judging platform, reflecting professional evaluation at the individual level.

Second, more than eleven of our teas have received awards across established competitions in different regions, including Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and the United States. These awards assess flavour, balance, and consistency through blind tasting, rather than branding or storytelling.

Third, OVP Tea, the company, has been awarded the Great Taste Producer title, recognising sustained quality and standards across multiple entries — not a single product or release.

Together, these acknowledgements indicate long-term practice and repeatable results, rather than one-time success.
